Justin Ratner lives alone, but not for long.
Justin has no need for sitting around. He knew that he wanted to marry Louise, so it was just a matter of getting a phone and calling her over.
Justin just needed to find out what Louise wanted first. He found out that she was apparently keen on the marriage idea too!
Note: Positive life changes like topping a career, unlocking a career, or having your first child, unlocks one want slot and one lock. Justin will get his in a second now that I can control him. If you recall, he is the father of Ellie Ratner.
Since they were already engaged, I let them spend the date getting married. After that it only took one failed risky to put them to dream date status. Louise got a positive moodlet for marrying a wealthy sim. They decided to move right then and there since it was still the first day of the rotation.
Move outs can occur any day after 8pm, so they do not miss out on their age advancing unless it is the first day of the rotation/last day.
Ellie hadn’t seen her daddy in a long time, so they were very happy to get their relationship high enough to be able to help her learn to walk and talk.
The new house has a lot of room for a growing little girl. After much debate, I have decided not to charge them hard earned cash for the rewards.
Smart milk costs the reward points + $10,000. I think that is a bit too extreme for a BACC.
Ellie had to go too bad to continue to learn to walk, Luckily Justin was able to get her to the potty in the nick of time.
Poor little thing. She was tuckered out after learning all three skills.
Justin insists that he wants a pet. Madras was just passing by and so I let them meet.
I’m not sure if it’s her crib or what, but I swear she goes to sleep and wakes up fully rested within just a couple of hours. It has not done that on any other crib though. Maybe it is because I triple time when they are doing boring stuff. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on that.
Also, Ellie has decided that her OTH is tinkering.
Justin decided he did not like Madras at all. He chased that mean dog off and went to play the piano instead.
Louise wanted that loan paid off fast. She decided the best way was to dig until she had enough cash. Too bad her yard only has rocks and bones! You have not seen much of her otherwise. She has been reading the mechanical book like a fiend and chatting with Tobias on the phone.
Ellen and Russell came to visit. Did I know that Ellen was pregnant? Wait, yes I do, but she was only in her first trimester. Oh well.
Ellie is a complete daddy’s girl.
Madras still shows up three or four times a day. Too bad he still is a mean dog. Justin yelled at him for growling and chased him off again.
Louise was up later than usual paying some of her loan when a commotion outside grabbed her attention.
Madras attacked poor Clay! What a meanie! I swear this town needs a pet control person to remove bad dogs from the streets.
Louise found Clay to be the sweetest dog ever. She played with her (yes, her) for a while and then started on her commands. By the time they are done, the relationship is high enough to adopt and I let her do it.
Oops. During that time, I missed Ellie’s birthday! Poor thing. I let her and Louise sneak out for a few hours to get her hair done and pick out jammies and an everyday outfit. She did not necessarily grow into the nose, but she is still adorable.
I love this mod! It’s the cutest thing ever. Too bad Clay destroys the bed by tomorrow evening and it must be replaced.
Louise and Justin have been trying for a baby three times a day for years. They are desperate for more children, but cannot afford the fees to go to a fertility specialist nor can they adopt until they pay down their loan.
Madras showed up again. Justin thinks a new SPCA building should be built when the town has the funds for it.
Ellie came home from her first day of school and was transferred to private school. She was so happy. It was way better than going to school where your dad was just promoted to be the new teacher’s aide.
It’s the last day for this family. Ellie can’t wait until next year when all the other kids start to grow up and she can finally make friends. In the meantime, she has Clay, her bestest friend in the world.
Louise has Ellie take Clay for a walk that afternoon. It’s the point now that she and Justin have to schedule woohoo times frequently. She has pretty much lost hope of having another baby. Justin promised her that if they do not get pregnant in the next two years, he would take out a loan for fertility specialist consultation.
Ellie wakes up really early Friday morning and heads out to play some chess. She tries to ignore the weird sounds coming from behind her parent’s bedroom door.
Omg . Ellie is a doll! I just adore her! She has a lot of skill points since her parents were always on top of one another trying for the baby that Louise is desperate for. Louise did manage to get to level 8 in the mechanical skill. I am really not sure if the population is growing too fast or if having Ellie was just a fluke or what. Louise has an ideal family size of 8, while Justin’s is 3. I am not telling them to TFB. They have to do this on their own, it is just so sad that I does not seem to be working for them. With the fertility treatments costing $5,000 I am thinking Louise will be closer to 40 before she can afford to go.
Fees: $500 marriage License
Unlocked: Education career because the first born turned into a child.
