Previous Update/Next Update
It’s Saturday morning, the first day of Spring. I started off by seeing what everyone was doing. Two seconds in, we notice just how much time Eric spent playing chess (at Fern’s place) and poker (at Tobais’ place) last round.
Two seconds after that, Eric and all five kids got their inheritance from Jordan. They went from $6,000 to $26,000. This will really come in handy because Frank wants to own 1 top level business. This time, we will be doing something that opens up another job position somewhere.
Frank took out a $10,000 loan and bought a club, unlocking Music.
Doreen was the first customer this time. She sounded horrible though.
I got a mod to allow for community lot sleeping. I also had to put in a shower for Frank.
Paul was a frequent karaoker (is that a word?) and he sounds pretty great.
Eric gets invited to the club for a date and we find out that he’s a jerk.
Russell finds kissing in public embarrassing I guess. He’s such a dork.
It did not take long for Frank to figure out what to do inside the photo booth, unfortunately the encounter proved fertile.
Paul’s back again. This time Frank accompanies him.
Even though they have two bolts (Frank is bi), these too keep it strictly platonic, a first for Fern I do believe.
Of course this was closely followed by a make out session with Drew Sullivan.
Then Fern and Drew take a spin in the photo booth.
Eric takes a break. He has been in the back of the lot, a slave to the flower making bench.
Tobias: Are you sure about this price? It seems a bit steep to me.
Frank: Yep, I don’t think $150 an hour is too steep at all.
Tobias: If you say so.
Frank repays all the loans. They apparently owed $11,000 (on top of the $10,000) from last round. I also got a notice that Eric’s bank gained negative interest. He ended up paying a $2,500 loan that I have no clue what he needed that for.
Edit: He took the loan out so he could pay taxes last round!
Another date just so they can use the energizer.
Ellie has had to be asked to leave several times now. She keeps having tantrums.
They invited the kids for the day, but for some reason they are not selectable or controllable.
When Eric got struck by lightning, they all knew it was time to abort the mission. The club got to rank 7.
It’s still Saturday, so I had them renovate the house. The old master bedroom is now the kitchen. The old bedroom is now where all of the desks are set up. They expanded the upstairs to have five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Further work on the downstairs does get done throughout the round.
The upstairs is heavily windowed.
The painting on the wall is a new addition. Jacey, Jane and Joey will all be using it to become witches. Jackie and Jessie are not inheriting the witch occult from Eric.
The newest addition makes itself known.
Jane and Joey playing in the new kitchen.
So far, they are so boring.
Jackie and Jessie (green robe and blue stripes) are mortal enemies. Therefore, they are forced to play together until they are at least in the positive relationship status.
Frank gets Eric to go on a date. Eric is having a tough pregnancy and has almost starved twice.
Of course that means Eric goes immediately into labor.
It’s a boy named Lewis!
Jackie has her birthday, but she refused a picture until after her makeover. Her LTW is 10 1st Dates.
There she is. They finally have a table that seats them all together.
Jacey: LTW Marry off two children. She just got out of a fight with Jackie, hence the look on her face.
Joey: LTW Graduate 2 kids from college
Jessie: LTW Become General
Jane: LTW Become Game Designer.
Here is a close up of Jackie.
Jackie trying to kill Lewis with her stink fumes.
Things are going so horribly. I don’t even know what is wrong with them.
I couldn’t take it anymore. I took a fat Frank back to the club. First thing he did was lower prices and got fit.
Later on, Olive took pictures. I can’t believe she paid the new price of $5,000 for the chance either.
Frank puts Eric’s snapdragons to good use after changing things up. The pool table was replaced with bubble blowers. You are looking at $30,000 an hour right here.
At rank 9, Frank lowered the ticket price to $25. He then meditates at triple speed while I ate dinner. All of the $5,000 people were still paying not realizing that the price was dirt cheap.
Luckily, I did catch Donald the Reviewer leaving his first review in years.
…and it’s done! He closes up shop and heads home where it is actually the last day of the rotation.
We stay past time and our three chosen are now witches. (Lewis rolled to not inherit). Jackie and Alisha have two bolts!
Ending look. Hopefully next time I will have enough time to give the new witches a makeover.
- Hard to believe that they started the update with like $6,000! Before taxes, they have $507,000.
- Taxes are doubled for households worth more than half a million as of now. (Rich sims pay $1,000 per sim, filthy rich will be $2,000 and any family worth a million or more will pay $5,000 a sim).
- Jacey is a bitch. I really just want to boot her ass out! She has won 6 fights and lost 4. She is enemies with almost everyone and for no reason.
- Each child will receive $100,000 except for the house heir, Joey who will just inherit the house.
Outstanding Loans: $0
Fees Owed: $0
Shademoor Bar & Grill – Rank 10: Unlocked Music!
Bonus Picks! Frank was paying taxes when ACR went haywire!
Jackie and Alisha
Jessie and Alisha. All three get their first kisses, although I do not know if Alisha’s counts since she is not controllable.
