It has been so long and this family is sooo large!
First things first, I did note the toddler in the house this time around. After cleaning out a lot of inventory items and making tons of money, Eric got Lewis his smart milk and started teaching him to talk. Lewis already knows his rhyme at least.
Frank is upstairs impatiently waiting for Eric so they can bounce under the sheets.
The five teens were just standing around. They were all more than happy to study together, which gives us a chance to meet them over again.
Jackie is the oldest. She was born human and chose not to become a witch when she became a teen. She is a romance sim who wants 10 1st dates. She does have enough SAS points to go to univeristy: 10 points for the A+, 44 skill points and 11 hobby points, but she may still choose not to go since she does not have a career based LTW. She currently has the unlocked university want though. If it stays until she is ready to grow up, she can go. Since she is still not sure, she does continue to earn a full ride scholarship and only needs five more points to do it.
Jacey is the second oldest, but also the oldest of quads. She did choose to become a witch like her dad. She is a family sim who wants to marry off two children. Like Jackie, she does have a want to go to college, but with only 32 SAS points, she is not eligible. There is not much time left for her to earn more points, but I think she will try anyway.
The third child and second quad is Jane. She is our knowledge girl and has a locked want for university. All knowledge sims are required to go. She does want to become a game designer, but is hoping that university will help her to change to something more important. With 41 SAS points, she has barely squeaked by for the opportunity to go. She is determined to bring that score up so she can go for either half price or even for free. Their family is loaded, so money really is not an issue.
The next one is Jessie. She is the fourth child and third quad. A popularity sim who wants to be a General does not need to go to college, but she has the want, especially since the girl she has a crush on (Alisha Bryan) is already there. With only 35 SAS points, she is currently not eligible, but she is hoping to get one point for reading the physiology book and 11 points for maxing her body skill. That would guarantee her admission in university.
Joey is not only the youngest quad and oldest boy, he is also the heir to the household. A knowledge sim who did choose to be a witch, he hopes to one day graduate two of his own kids from college. He really just wants to go and get life experience away from home before having to settle down and take over the house.
Then there is the baby, Lewis. The only one who did not roll a random “J” name. His only goal is to learn to walk before aging up in a couple of hours. This will finally allow his two dads to get real jobs and get out of the house for once instead of making babies out of boredom (both dads want to be Rock Gods, and music finally got unlocked).
Jackie is happy to announce that she got a total of 70 points and got three scholarships (grades, charisma, athletics). She gets a full ride to college and I lock the want in so she can get the points for it after she leaves.
In other news, I have recategorized the witch traits. Jacey and Eric have 0 nice points, so they are now studying the darkness. Jane has 7 nice points and Joey has 5. Jane is studying the light and Joey is too. Jessie is the only non-witch now, so she is basically just skilling since it is the weekend.
Nanny Dianna was hired and the adults all got jobs and left for the day.
I finally took control for a minute and got Nanny Dianna fixed up.
It was a nice quiet day with just Lewis. He pretty much just colored.
Lyle (behind the snapdragon) came home from school with someone. What is of interest is that Justin (his dad) showed up soon after. He now follows Jessie around heartfarting her. I guess he forgets that he is married and she is a gay teen. She does end up getting rid of him soon after.
Lewis had a dirty diaper, which reminded me that he had to be potty trained. They barely got that done in time for his birthday.
He is such a cutie, a little plain though.
Justin: This wand is almost as big as my-
Jessie: *plugs ears* TMI! TMI! GET OUT!
Jacey, Jane and Joey all took off as soon as they were able.
Jessie: Yes, I’d like to request a nanny. Ours didn’t show up today and I am waiting for my taxi to college. I don’t want my little brother to be left alone.
Receptionist: We are sorry for the mix up. We must not have gotten you parents’ updated schedules. Nanny Dianna has been dispatched and will be there shortly.
It’s written on the Rules & Regs page, but basically the Shademoor Aptitude Scoring is:
Points for grades.
1 point per skill point and one extra point for a maxed skill.
1 point per hobby skill and an extra for max enthusiasm.
1 point extra per non-skill study book (parenting, physiology..etc)
Points for badges.
Points for a teen job.
Jacey: Scored a 44, which is a qualifier for University at full price ($2,000 per semester).
Jane: Scored a 55, which is a qualifier for at half-price ($1,000 per).
Jessie: Scored a 62, for half price.
Joey: Scored a 54, for full price.
Total tuition for all four kids: $48,000.
Lewis ran out to watch his last sibling leave. He wonders what it will be like to be an only child for the next four years.
Lewis quickly realized that there were lots of things to do to get ready for life. He read a physiology book, maxed his body skill, got 7 points in creativity (six of them came from the art table as a toddler), learned all about fire safety, and became a bit more logical in the following days.
Eric is still on his quest become a dark witch. He just now made it down to Nice. Lol. It is the end of the season, so he takes a break to pay the taxes and fees.
Tuition Fees: $48,000
So much last minute skilling! Jackie was two days from adult when I loaded the house and I think the quads were three days away. All five had wants for university. Even the ones that were not allowed to lock it in, never lost their want. I am so glad that family is rich enough to pay out that kind of money for them.
It got really quiet after everyone left. Lewis is a dream. Such a sweet boy. He pretty much just studied and painted. Eric and Frank had to skill for work too. Eric is such an asshole though, that he cannot earn a promotion to save his life. He also kept spying on Louise Ratner and she would come over and shove him twice a day.
