Hello….six months later. Last time too many kids were born and Ellen got put on birth control. The four youngest do have their page links, but I forgot to fill them in, so I will do that right now before I forget again.
I don’t recall when or how, but they apparently got a puppy named Scout. His parents are Honey and Brinks. His littermate is Duchess.
Nathaniel was taught to study while Sabrina starts to bug the puppy.
It was a triple birthday night. The twins went first (Sylvia up top and Kayla).
This was followed immediately by Sabrina becoming a teen.
Michael decided to put his meager cooking skill to the test and make dinner for the birthday girls.
Unfortunately, his bladder got in the way and off he ran to the bathroom. When he returned, the whole kitchen was engulfed in flames.
Nathaniel ended up on fire. I quickly tasked Ellen with extinguishing him.
The fire rages out of control. Ellen ended up extinguishing a counter and not Nathaniel. Almost everyone is on fire at this point.
The house ends up burnt to the ground. They are only allowed a toilet, a bed, a mini fridge, a folding chair and a recliner. Due to there being toddlers on the lot, I allowed two cribs, a bunny head and the activity table. Scout gets his bed, a chew toy and a food dish. The outlandish donation from the neighbors is the bubble blower.
FIRE HITS: You lose everything on the lot. The house and all your stuff. Insurance drags their feet. They don’t address your claim for at least a week. Lucky for you, your neighbors come to your aid and give you a mini fridge, one of each of the lowest cost item folding chair, bed, recliner, toilet, and sink. They give you one weird extreme item such as a bubble blower, DJ booth, flamingo, or any item you next to NEVER put into your game. Its an item that makes you scratch your head wondering WHY the neighbors gave you that item. Extreme: Sims die from fire.
Before hunger and exhaustion set in, the high schoolers get their homework done.
Even with the loss of three of their kids the day before, Ellen and Charles both return home with promotions (Ellen to 8 and Charles to 3).
This is where they hang out for the rest of the season. Queue triple speed.
The toddlers are doing fairly well. There is no potty for them, so they are constantly begging to be changed.
Steve has his birthday as soon as we get the pop up and the option to “grow up” appears.
Scout grows up when everyone is at work/school. He is the weirdest looking dog ever.
Two more promotions for our family. Ellen has the next two days off dammit.
Meredith has her birthday Friday night. The two cribs were sold and they were given beds.
Steve learns to study Saturday morning. The mini fridge wasn’t working right, so I gave them a counter and cheap fridge. Every time they would set a dish on top of the fridge, it would disappear and no one could eat.
Saturday and Sunday were spent fighting for beds and a spot at the bubble blower.
Ellen found herself wide awake with Scout Sunday evening/Monday early. Scout learned to roll over, shake and come here. We also got word that Michael lost two of his scholarships due to the fire and not having any skill objects. With only two days before his birthday, his want to go to college is just a pipe dream. His SAS score is 31 and needs 40 to even qualify to go. If his want (which I unlocked) is still there the day before he ages up, there is the option to go, but it will cost him $4,000 per semester.
It is also their bad luck that they cannot even call up the headmaster. Steve and Meredith will be stuck in public school and without a computer, they are the only ones without a savings account.
There is no computer on the lot, so taxes will have to wait until next time. Their total will be $14,033.
I was prepared for a fire, but not so many deaths. I was aiming for just one, Nathaniel, which is why I waited so long to start fighting the fire. By the time they did, it was out of control. They will get a new house next season.
