Changes: I am now going to switch it from two semesters (one school year) into four semesters so that they aren’t in college for too long. To catch up with the first round, Ellie and Alisha will graduate this time and the rest will complete freshman and sophomore years.
Only two townies moved out so only Faith and Jacey got new rooms. Ellie ran off to class and Alisha went to bed.
It took all damn day, but Joey is the last to get his room.
They all immediately get started on term papers and last minute skill building.
Someone must have had a visit with the Ratner’s because the flu has followed the Gibson’s here. Ellie shoos the cook out of the way and makes some comfort soup.
Soon the flu is gone.
They have free time as soon as their performance bar is maxed. I also leave them mostly uncontrollable.
Jane is the only one who is homesick. She is always wanting to call her dad, Frank Gibson.
Alisha and Jessie have started up a bit of flirting. At one point Alisha wants to get engaged, but Jessie does not have the same want for her.
Semester ends and now Alisha wants to be with Jackie.
Too bad this doesn’t count for fires.
Alisha continues to waver back and forth between the sisters. She has two bolts with Jessie and three bolts with Jackie.
With four witches in residence, I decided to have their free time spent spellcasting and studying.
A lamp appeared, but no one had the memory of getting it.
Jane had the first want to make a wish. She chose to wish for money.
Jacey is having a rest after a very busy semester. The new group have all finished their freshman year.
It’s back to the grind again.
These two are having a break now that they are juniors.
Lyle was visiting and joined everyone in some research.
Alisha gets the want for a wish and chooses money also. Soon they will have enough to hire a maid.
Jessie wanted a date and the natural option is Alisha.
Upstairs ACR has Jackie and dormie Ellen Hodge kissing.
Joey wants the last wish. He was quite content with his lot in life and just chose money.
Later some are going to class while others are coming back from their final exams.
Jackie wants 10 1st dates for her LTW. Alisha was handy for the very first one.
At the end of the dream date, Jackie falls in love and Alisha wants to get engaged to her. Again.
Jackie is not in any hurry for a relationship though and gets Ellen to go on a date minutes later. Jackie’s wants were mostly for ALisha, so it was not a dream date.
Our two oldest girls graduate with honors. Neither one wants a party though.
Inside Faith studies while the rest smustle in perfect sync. Faith is one year higher than the Gibson girls and two years behind the older ones.
Elle and then Alisha move back to Shademoor. Neither one has any clue what they’re going to do now.
The exodus starts for our last 6. Jane is the first one to complete Sophomore year.
Faith eventually completes her Junior year.
and Joey is the last one to finish. He starts his reading for a cleaning skill point while the others are upstairs working on research or their term papers to close us out.
Alisha, Ellie and Faith got full rides if you recall. The Gibson 5’s tuition was paid by their dads previously. It was pretty stressful with 8 sims in the house. I’m just glad that Alisha and Ellie were super skilled already and I only had to deal with the others most of the time.
Lyle and William are in a different dorm and I’m so glad to have a small household again.
Lyle needs a cooking skill point, but otherwise the available portion of his performance bar is maxed due to the research he did at the other dorm. William has a secondary of knowledge, so it will be easy to keep him happy since his wants are all for studying and going to class.
The bathroom situation here is a bit perilous. Lyle has been trapped by the girl William is talking to. In fact, William left for class and returned while Lyle was stuck. Luckily William drew the girl away and Lyle was able to escape.
In case you forgot, the Ratner’s are a fairly poor family. Even with scholarships, the boys only had about $7500 to their name. They each owe $16,000 in tuition fees, so they don’t get to have fun like the other dorm, which has over $100,000. I checked and realized the Ratner’s never started a bank account for these two either. That’s pretty crazy. They dug until they had a bit over $15,000, a stink trail that was really gross and they were about to pass out.
Lyle decided that he wanted to skill up his cooking and therefore changed his major to cooking. He had plans to open up a restaurant back in town.
While Lyle is more worried about tuition and is out digging again, William is worried about home. He calls up Rose to check in on the family. As heir to the house, he feels it is his duty to keep an eye out for them.
It was a big relief to both brothers when they were able to pay $16,000 for their first eight semesters. They would worry about the rest next season. The boys can now concentrate on school and not money for once.
The final exams about killed Lyle, but William was raring to go and got busy writing his term paper.
Lyle took a nap and a shower before he felt able to tackle his term paper. He already couldn’t wait to graduate and be done with all this school crap.
William finally had a chance to call up Faith for that dream date want he had since before he came to university.
Freshman year ends on a high note.
More research wants filled. Lyle continues to study up on his cooking.
William hasn’t figured out what he wants to do yet. He spends his free time study to be an evil warlock.
Lyle: Are you sure you want to be evil?
Will: Yeah, the town is overrun with those goody goody Gibson witches.
Lyle: True. Carry on.
Just before the end of the next semester, William finally starts making his throne.
Lyle is jealous and angry of William all of a sudden. He doesn’t think it’s fair that Will can just sit and skill 24 hours a day while he has to eat/sleep/potty like normal.
Faith invited herself and William was playing chess with another girl, so Lyle thought it would be funny to steal Faith from him. Sadly, Faith was not cooperating.
Lyle just kept at her until she threatened to go to campus security.
On the other hand, William had no clue that Faith would get upset if he flirted with another girl.
And then she attacked him! Will wasn’t one to hit a girl, so he let her beat him up.
The boys weren’t the only ones happy that the second year was over.
Not sure what was up with Lyle the second part of the update. He would not leave poor Faith alone.
Tuition paid: $8,000 each.
Tuition Owed: $8,000 each.
They have $12,000 on hand from the semester cash they receive, so it will be pretty easy to get the rest next time.
