We left off last time with Tyler living with Jamie and his servo, Stanley. Tyler was alien pregnant, but he threw an error and it deleted the pregnancy.
Tyler decided to go out to Hut Tub Heaven. Stanley was muttering to himself at the robot station and Jamie was asleep, so he went alone and found Jane Gibson there.
Looks like he also found her dad, Frank Gibson and some townies too.
When he realized that he was attracted to her (2 bolts), he decided they needed to get to know each other better.
He even got his first kiss that night!
And fell in love a few hours later after an epic dream date.
He invited her home where they got engaged in front of the old Walters empty lot. Sadly, they both rolled away their locked marriage wants, so they decided to see if they rolled back later on.
She agreed to move in and even brought $34,000 with her, which was nice because they only had $945 before that.
They only did a casual woohoo, but risky set in. Thanks a bunch guys.
Jane: That wasn’t…
Stanley was still muttering madly to himself while using the robot station.
Stanley: I heard that chime! I’m not sticking around here to be some slave to slimy brats and cleaning up after dirty humans!
Jane was sad that the throne her brother made her was missing. She went straight to work making her own.
Then she thought that making potions for the masses and opening up her own little shop would be fun. She was interrupted by her advancing tummy.
Stanley bought a community lot and then took out a $100,000 loan to buy a new house.
Stanley: Oh, look. I’m cleaning up after nasty humans.
Jamie worked hard and maxed his career and became permaplat. His co-workers sent home a cheap stove that he promptly sold too.
Stanley had been working hard and decided to take a well deserved break.
Stanley then decided to tell Jamie about his new store. Jamie wanted to leave right then and there to go see it.
Jane tagged along with them since she could make a second throne and stay pretty happy indefinitely. Jamie bought a few energizers and Stanley just needed sun. That left poor Tyler alone at home since he would be a problem.
Jane gave her potions to Stanley and let Jamie sell them for her. For several days, it was just Jamie selling and doing the register and restocking.
Most of the issues cropped up when people would be stupid and stand in front of the register.
When the shop was closed, Jane and Jamie got to know each other. He started to trust her with new tasks on top of that.
The ranks were flying by faster than they could make the stuff.
Jamie even let Jane make some inventory, but Stanley had to spend a lot of time fixing her mistakes.
Jamie sold Donald the Reviewer on their little shop and he gave them a good review and a Best of the Best award.
Stanley contemplated changing the name of the shop. His robot army he was building, had to be sold off so that they could keep the shop open longer. He was pretty sad that they were all gone.
Jane sold them up to rank 7 and Jamie pretty much supervised and ran the register.
Jane was determined to help out as much as the others and soon learned to do the register a bit faster.
Everyone was on hand to witness Spruce and Dianna the townie’s first kiss. I wonder how many bolts they have!
Even Stanley has helped out between shifts making robots. He got up to silver in sales too.
The lines were long and Jane was slow, but only once in a while did someone throw a fit and run out without paying.
They finally did it! They sold off extra inventory for cash and returned home.
There was an hour of chest pounding outside for no reason other than to annoy me.
Tragedy struck during a vicious storm. Jamie saw the lightning strike and ran out to freak out about the fire with Tyler following close on his heels.
They both caught on fire and there was much screaming.
Stanley wouldn’t allow Jane outside to see what was going on. He tried to save Jamie first, but he was too late, but he was able to save Tyler.
Jane uses a spell to put out the fire, something she had tried to tell Stanley she could do, but he just wouldn’t listen.
Things crawled along after that. Stanley took it really hard though. Tyler and Jane just had date after date between work days.
Soon it was time for the baby. Jane spent the remainder of her pregnancy on her throne and skilling from the (career reward) bookcase. She ends the season at level 6 in her teaching career.
Tyler and Jane welcomed a boy this season. They named him Nick.
They were a cute little family.
Jane’s sister Jackie was quite taken with the new baby and wouldn’t put him down. She invited herself over almost daily to spend time with them.
They never re-rolled their marriage want, but Jane wants to reach her Golden Anniversary, so a wedding had to take place.
Stanley ended up quite taken with the baby and the family. He decided to stick around after all. Maybe next season he could start his army all over again.
Taxes paid: $12,700
Omg. I almost quit without saving, but it had been awhile since I had saved. Poor Jamie! I wish I had known there was a spell that Jane could use. I was just trying to keep her and the baby safe and wouldn’t let her outside. The fact that she could have saved Jamie and I didn’t know makes me feel so bad.
