Last time Jared and Julia became twins, Kimi and Loralie moved in for the summer, and then Paul gained full custody, Rachell became a toddler, Kimi and Loralie became children. Paul and Jared ran the business up to level 10, which then crashed and they started again but took Julia with them. She caused a lot of trouble and spent the rest of Round 5 throwing tantrums at every turn.
Jared was gold and Julia was platinum somehow, so I took advantage of that and had them teach Loralie and Kimi to study. Andrew walks by and heartfarts Jared.
Inside, Paul is paying the $36,300 in taxes.
Rachel still needs to learn to walk, so Paul made her some smart milk. Only to find out that she only had a sliver left and it took about 3 seconds for her to finish.
Eva became a teen while Rachel was finished up walking. LTW: Marry off 6 kids.
Rachel then went upstairs to potty, but aged up first.
For the first time in eons, Jared has a clean face. Hopefully he will stay away from any makeover stations in the future.
ROS Roll: I normally don’t show you these, but this one actually needs to be shown.
Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition: NOT THE FLUFFY CUSHIONS, ANYTHING BUT THAT! All existing chairs/beds in the house must be swapped for the highest comfort replacements. You have the week to achieve this – if you’ve not earned enough during the week you may sell items, forego food, or whatever is necessary (without cheats) to achieve this goal.
Luckily they had a ton of money from the Bowling Alley last season.
After upgrading and sending everyone to bed, Paul got started on breakfast. By 3:30am, everyone was wide awake and ready to eat.
Their free time before school was spent on various modes of studying.
With so many kids, a lot of shuffling had to happen to fit all of their beds. Paul wants a baby, so if push comes to shove, I will just convert the open area into another room. Instead of another alien baby, I’m thinking it is time for him to settle down.
Of course Paul soon realized that all his bolts are for married men.
Kimi was excited to finally finish her Physiology book. She got her jump rope out right then and each time it whipped around, she gained more and more points.
She quickly maxes the skill and decides that she wants to learn more.
She grabbed a mechanical book and joined her sisters on the new couch and studied with them until the bus came.
Eva was asleep when dinner was made. When she woke up, she earned four creativity points before her hunger got the best of her.
Julia’s brush with homelessness (for a few hours) last season must have scared her straight. Her aspiration meter is still platinum and she is really enjoying her time with her siblings.
She is also repaired her relationship with dad and Jared. The lifetime meter is still around 38, so I will keep a close eye on her in case she has a setback.
Paul is upstairs getting some much needed rest. He wants to wake up soon and gain a 6th skill point in cleaning, which should put him platinum before heading off to work. Today, he just might top Architecture.
The bus showed up, but Paul was dismayed to see that no one could actually get on the damn thing. He asked them all to just walk to school this one time and had each one grab a younger sibling to keep an eye on.
Paul was sort of happy to have the house to himself for the next couple of hours. He feels confident that he can gain his needed skill point.
*I just realized that my editing is still set for Sims 3. Oopsie*
Crap, he didn’t have a couple of hours after all. He had like 20 minutes.
Whew! Paul got his skill point, got platinum, and was green across the board. He even made it to the carpool by 9:22am. His performance bar is a tiny bit above halfway, so the whole family is crossing their fingers.
Paul topped the career, as expected. Sadly, his LTW had changed, so he did not get permaplat (this is the 3rd time it has changed!)
Jared wants to become The Law, which means he has to go to college even though he doesn’t have the want. He then stated that he wasn’t going without Julia.
Julia had no interest in college either, but she found out that no one in the Science industry would hire her without a degree.
That first night without Jared and Julia was quiet. Eva wanted a flower making bench and earned a bronze badge. Paul played chess with the kid Loralie brought home from school then fixed the shower. The girls drew pretty pictures and went to bed without dinner, which left just Paul and Eva to eat the hamburgers he made.
The girls did end up getting another early start to the day. Kimi found the telescope and Rachel wants to color after her hamburger dinner/breakfast. Even Loralie wanted level 4 in creativity and ran off to draw after doing up some dishes.
Rachel decided she would rather have an actual easel like the big kids at school.
The girls were so happy that they could ride the bus today! Paul was just happy they were gone. He had the day off today and had some plans of his own. Also, Paul’s new LTW was to max 7 skills. It definitely could have been worse.
Paul’s plans fell through, so he stayed home and read a physiology book all day. Kimi and Loralie came home with A+’s.
Nothing happens except skilling, so let’s skip ahead.
The next day, Rachel came home with her A+.
It was a hard day at school and of course Kimi thought it was hysterical seeing her two sisters passed out.
Paul has finished his cleaning skill and is now on charisma.
Eva is a great family sim. She tucks each girl in every night and was more than happy to help Rachel with her homework.
Two less girls to tuck in now! Loralie doubled up on the grey hair, so now she likes black hair, but not grey hair.
LTW have not shown up for the new teens, so we will check them next season.
I caught Kimi and Loralie arguing. Luckily it was the one and only time it happened.
Eva becomes an overachiever. She has not decided if she wants college yet though.
Ahem, I forgot to turn off movies. Kimi meets the aliens. Don’t let that face you fool you. She wants the extraterrestrial grant and to meet the aliens.
Paul is on his third Thinking Cap and third (and last) skill, cooking.
It took a bit more time than expected, but Paul finally gets permaplat. I believe he needed 4 cooking points, 4 charisma points and 3 cleaning.
Eva does decide to go to college, even if it’s only to find a wife.
It’s the first day of winter and time to move on.
I was really dreading playing this house and I am so happy that it was for nothing (it even chased me back to Sims 3 for two months to avoid this house). Paul will be an elder next season, so that is why he never did get the baby he wanted.
I forgot to check their scores to see how much to pay tuition. I will add it in to the family taxes next season.
