Round 7
Benson Family
Winter
Welcome back to the Benson household! Last time, Clarence (at work) and Stephan welcomed a baby named Mary.
Stephan became an elder right after work. He knew that Clarence was on his last days, so he had to quickly schedule their anniversary party for his aspiration.
They had a smustling good time!
Just calling to schedule the party did the trick.
And everyone had a good time.
Too bad the good times don’t last.
Not one bit.
He did get a nice send off though, complete with hula girls.
Stephan was in a depressed funk. He ignored his daughter and spent all of his time on the robot bench.
Stephan does manage to add to our tycoon list.
Night and day, Stephan tinkered, ignoring his daughter became a way of life. She luckily has a very good nanny.
Uncooked food littered the kitchen.
Mary spent most of her babyhood under a thick cloud of stink, screaming for attention from her daddy.
When he did finally stop what he was doing to care for her, more times than not, she was put back in the crib without even her diaper. He could barely look into her eyes, knowing she hated him, but unable to care either way.
He did manage to bathe her once. He had half a mind to just let the social worker have her.
Stephan never noticed that the nanny had quit. He really didn’t want to stop what he was doing, but he certainly did not want to worry about a neglectful death charge.
All of the long hours and neglect finally paid off.
He now had a minion to do his dirty work for him.
With his newfound free time, Stephan feels ready to repair his dwindling relationship with his daughter.
Stephan had bee in his own little world so long that soon, the debt collectors were threatening to show up.
Mary grew up and she couldn’t stand to be around Stephan.
It was left up to Ratchet to teach her the toddler skills she would need. It was Ratchet that made sure she had a potty and toys.
But at night, Ratchet was forced to work on the robot bench while his beloved daughter of his heart was left in the clutches of Stephan who would leave her sleeping in her own filth and on top of piles of trash.
Ratchet was finally done with his task after three years.
Mary thought that now that she was a big girl, things would get better. It didn’t. She was just as neglected as before, but now at least, she got to go to school.
The first thing she did after her forgotten birthday was to run and take a shower. It was the first time she had been completely clean since she was a tiny newborn.
It’s hard to sneak around when you’re metal, but Ratchet was able to sneak in and confirm that Stephan was asleep.
Now it was time to make his escape.
Ratchet quickly grabs Mary and they sneak away in the dead of night.
